- I noticed that Salsa is now calling fatbikes fat-tired bikes. What’s up with that?
- Salsa also changed the name of the Mukluk to Heyday
- Why the name change? In 2020, Salsa consulted with a third-party group to audit their product names for problematic or offensive vocabulary. This audit (and other feedback from Salsa riders and retailers) identified the Mukluk name — inspired by traditional indigenous footwear in arctic regions — as potentially problematic.
