Talkin’ Schmack!

  • October 7th – Osage, IA – Fatober Fest Camping, Riding, Shenanigans
  • Sam’s Foot
  • Tony’s Trek 400
  • Yes, put your logs right in front of our entrance!!
  • I noticed that Salsa is now calling fatbikes fat-tired bikes. What’s up with that?
  • Salsa also changed the name of the Mukluk to Heyday
    • Why the name change? In 2020, Salsa consulted with a third-party group to audit their product names for problematic or offensive vocabulary. This audit (and other feedback from Salsa riders and retailers) identified the Mukluk name — inspired by traditional indigenous footwear in arctic regions — as potentially problematic.
  • We’ve got a few fatbikes – that’s what we are still calling them – available.
  • Jay Petervary’s custom Esker Ti Mid-tail – https://www.bikemag.com/gear/bike-check-jay-petervarys-custom-mid-tail-esker
  • New LP Elgato Arm
  • Happy Anniversary, Wendy!
Tony’s Trek 400 is heading to Upstate New York!
Sven’s new Low Profile Microphone Mount from Elgato. Working towards video!
