Full Spectrum Cycling Podcast #25 – davelunzdotcom talks Copper Harbor Fest

Sven, JK and Tony are in the studio this week recapping the Steel is Real ride. Plus we talk to Dave Lunz Dot Com about the Copper Harbor Fest, intro Deschutes HandUp IPA beer and discus a few upcoming events.

Sven pre-ordered one of the new Chumba Stella Ti Frames. The new version is a true plus bike with clearance for 27.5 x 3″ and 29 x 3″ tires.

Just in time for Cyclocross season Deschutes Brewery out of Bend, OR sent us some sample bottles of HandUp IPA.

$1 per barrel of HandUp IPA sold will be donated to Pancreatic Cancer Research in honor of Colby Nightingale, a co-owner at Deschutes who passed in 2018 from the disease.

According to Deschutes, HandUp is an American-style IPA with aroma and flavor driven by the citrus, tropical, and grassy hop notes with a Light malt character with a crisp dry finish. 65 IBUs and 6.5% ABV. To us it was simply delicious!

HandUP IPA is available in independent chains now and will be available at major chains October 1st.

The Steel is Real bike ride in Milwaukee celebrates steel framed bikes and the 2019 edition was a good one. Super weather, great stops and super company.
