I was building a Surly Instigator 1.0 into an Urban Assault bicycle using some parts that had been languishing around the shop for a bit, nice White Brothers carbon fork, modern 1×10 drivetrain, disc brakes etc, and when I was finishing off the zip ties to hold the rear brake hydraulic hose I remembered that I wanted to give you a tip on how to properly install zip ties and avoid scratching your legs all the time.
