Boombotix Bike Mount 2.0 – Full Spectrum Cycling

You may have noticed that we are fond of Boombotix Bluetooth speakers for certain kinds of rides and, in the past, we’ve simply clipped the speaker to our backpack strap but Boombotix figured we need another way to enjoy tunes on the bike so we present the Boombotix Handlebar Mount 2.0.

There isn’t much in the way of instructions about how to attach the mount to your bike and it is a relatively painless process but here are a few pointers to make the job that much easier.

Here you can access the screw in the middle to remove the mount from the handlebar clamp. That makes it easier to attach the clamp.

Once you have the clamp installed on the bar, screw the mount back on and slide the Boombot or Rex on the mount.

Close the mount so the clips engage and enjoy the tunes!

Compared to clipping my Boombotix Rex to my backpack strap the handlebar mount puts the Rex in a better position to hear the tunes. I find that the soundstage, such as it is, is much better and I can listen at a lower volume because the sound is directed at me instead of away like on the backpack strap.

We aren’t fans of music on every ride but when we do want to enjoy the beat, a Boombotix speaker and the Handlebar Mount make great companions.!
